Over 100 years of craftmanship
Napoleon candy was invented over 100 years ago, in a bakery in Antwerp, Belgium. Soon after its introduction it became a success. The name Napoleon was inspired by a friend, who was chocolatier and produced a praline named Ceasar, after the Roman emperor. Louis, the inventor of Napoleon candy, named its candy after the French emperor.
Nowadays Napoleon candy is still produced and popular in Belgium and Holland. New flavors were introduced, and the tradition of these Belgian candies is still very alive.
